- Ted’s essay “Just to Know” appeared in the Spring/ Summer edition of the University of Minnesota’s Reach alumni magazine.
- A short piece about the Vietnamese New Year Festival, or the Tet Festival, was published in the St. Paul, MN Asian American Press.
- Ted was awarded the prestigious Sullivan Scholarship for a fifth year of undergraduate Study Abroad from the University of Minnesota. He was featured in an article in the University of Minnesota publication CLA Today.
- Ted was asked to write a piece in observance of the State of Minnesota’s Year of Study Abroad, 2006. “Studying abroad helps to be successful and ethical in a complex world” was published in the Asian American Press, and it was also published on the Indonesian news website, Muara Teweh.
